Now that in-person conferences for professionals are in full swing again, the Excellence Network will be back on the road with speakers and exhibition stands this summer.
This news story is about events that have passed. Tickets are no longer available.
We're delighted to be going back out to in-person conferences this year and hopefully meeting many Excellence Network members and healthcare professionals. Look out for us at the following events.
- The Residential and Home Care Show, part of Health Plus Care (18 to 19 May, ExCel London)
This year, the programme features a session from Associate Director of the Parkinson's Excellence Network, Dr Rowan Wathes, Parkinson's UK Head of Commercial Partnerships, Ghalib Ullah and Home Instead Head of Corporate Sales and Partnerships, Sarah Williamson, focusing on the education element of their partnership programme:
Driving improvements in social care to support people with Parkinson's to live happily and independently at home, 19 May, 3.15 pm, Home Care Theatre.
- Royal College of Nursing (RCN) Congress (5 to 9 June, Scottish Events Campus, Glasgow)
Members of the Alliance of Scottish Parkinson’s Disease Nurse Specialists and Scotland-based members of the Excellence Network team and Parkinson’s UK Scotland will be presenting a stand in the event exhibition from 6 to 9 June. Delegates will be able to find out about succession planning for their specialist nurse posts and the Get It On Time campaign.
- BritMODIS 2022 (10 June, ETC Venues Houndsditch, London)
Presented by The British Geriatrics Society Movement Disorders Section (BGS-MD Section), Association of Palliative Medicine and Parkinson's Disease Nurse Specialist Association (PDNSA), in association with the Excellence Network, the 2022 event will focus on end of life care. Excellence Network members feature on the programme, and an exhibition stand will be available to provide Excellence Network information and resources.
