Visualising hallucinations in Parkinson’s

Researchers at the University of Sussex are developing a computer model that aims to visualise hallucinations experienced by some people with Parkinson’s or Lewy Body Dementia.

They want to compare the images the model produces to descriptions of actual visual hallucinations. By creating a simulation of visual hallucinations, they hope to understand why they happen.

Who

•  30 people with Parkinson’s or Lewy Body Dementia who:
•  currently experience visual hallucinations (this could include seeing things that aren’t there and mistaking objects for other things)
•  and have access to the internet

What

Taking part in a 45 minute online video interview where you will be asked about your experience of visual hallucinations.

For more information, please read the participant information sheet.
