Could digital tests improve how we measure memory and thinking changes?
Researchers from University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust are investigating new ways to measure memory and thinking changes in Parkinson’s and Parkinson’s Dementia.
They also want to find out if measuring memory and thinking changes using a computer could make testing for these symptoms easier and more accurate.
• 60 people with Parkinson’s or Parkinson’s Dementia
• Completing a series of memory and thinking tasks. Using paper and pencil, or your computer/tablet with a size 10 inch or larger screen, if taking part from home.
• You can complete the tasks from home or in person at Derriford Hospital
• These tasks should take 2.5 hours to complete including breaks
• Participants are welcome to bring someone with them for support
• If travel is required, these expenses will be reimbursed
