Adapting a toolkit to support living with pets while receiving care in the UK
A researcher from the Open University of the Netherlands is adapting a Dutch toolkit for the UK. The toolkit is designed to help support people receiving care at home to look after their pets. Pets have previously been shown to be important for people receiving home care.
5 people who:
• are aged over 60
• live with 1 or more pets
• receive care at home
• and have access to a computer
Unfortunately, those who experience severe memory and thinking difficulties are unable to take part.
• Reviewing the adapted toolkit and providing feedback during an online video call or over email
• The review will take approximately one hour, and the video call will take 30 minutes to one hour
• You will receive a £20 gift card via email for your participation
Please read the participant information sheet for more information.
