The scale is designed to define and describe the different types and pattern of pain that a person with Parkinson's may be experiencing.
The scale was developed by Professor Ray K. Chaudhuri, Dr Claudia Trenkwalder and Professor Pablo Martinez-Martin in 2015.
It is available to download for free from Mapi Trust for students, physicians, in clinical practice and by not-funded academic users (registration required).
Fees may apply for use by funded academic users, healthcare organisations, commercial users and IT companies.
