Get ready for the 2025 UK Parkinson's Audit

Registration for the 2025 UK Parkinson’s Audit, the recognised quality improvement tool for Parkinson's services, opens on Monday, 10 February 2025 until 21 March 2025.

This is the opportunity for elderly care, neurology, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and speech and language therapy services that manage patients with Parkinson’s to be involved in a recognised continuous improvement cycle, and be part of a larger Parkinson’s community committed to service quality. This is the chance to benchmark your service and make change.

Following a successful pilot in 2024, hospital pharmacy services are invited to register for the Audit for the first time.

UK Parkinson's Audit Clinical Lead, Anne Louise Cunnington, Consultant Geriatrician for NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, said:

"I would strongly encourage all eligible services to consider registering for the 2025 UK Parkinson's Audit. This will be the 9th cycle since it was launched in 2009. Participating in a National Audit is not just about identifying areas where improvements are desired, but also about celebrating areas of good practice.

"I am particularly excited about the new component of the pharmacy audit of inpatients, with a focus on time critical medication and the supporting infrastructures to facilitate getting medication on time, every time"

Returning Parkinson’s services will be sent an email inviting them to register for the Audit once registration is open, and there will also be a link to register on the Audit webpage.
