Non-medical prescribing programme

  • Provided by the University of Northampton.

The module aims to equip students with the theoretical knowledge and practical experience required to become a non-medical prescriber. To be eligible for this module, you must have been registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) for at least 3 years. And have at least 1 year’s experience working in the area of practice that you want to independently prescribe within.
