Help shape the future of support for long-term conditions like Parkinson's

The UK government wants to reform support for people who live with long-term conditions, like Parkinson’s. We want to hear your views on the plans.

On 29 April 2024, the UK government announced it would be reforming how it supports people with long-term conditions, like Parkinson’s. Read more about the planned changes to fit notes and Personal Independence Payment (PIP).

The government wants people to give their views on the proposed changes, so we'd like to hear what the Parkinson's community thinks. There are 2 ways you can get involved.

Join a focus group

If you claim or have claimed Personal Independence Payment (PIP), or care or support someone who’s claimed, and you can attend an online focus group in June, we want to hear from you.

Each focus group will include about 6 people and last no longer than 90 minutes, with a break partway through.
