All research studies looking for people to take part have gone through a review process. This process is designed to make sure that everyone taking part in the research is kept safe. The process includes regular training for all research staff, safety checks, and making sure ethical requirements are followed.
Your patients will always get an information sheet to read and a consent form to sign before any research activity happens. They can stop taking part at any point and don't need to give a reason for withdrawing.
