Get It On Time
We're campaigning to make sure that everyone in a hospital or care home gets their medication on time, every time.
People with Parkinson’s need their medication on time every time. Yet over half of people with the condition don’t get their medications on time in hospital. This can cause stress, anxiety, immobility, severe tremors, and in some extreme cases death.
We’re campaigning to make sure that no one with Parkinson’s is worried that they will leave hospital more unwell than when they went in.
Whether you have Parkinson’s, support someone who does, work in the health and care system or campaign to improve it, you can take action to make hospitals and care homes safer.
Together we can get more people to understand how big this problem is. And we can put pressure on the right people, across the UK, to change hospital policies, improve prescribing in hospitals and make sure staff are trained to give time critical medication.

We've written a joint statement with Diabetes UK, Epilepsy Action, National AIDS Trust, Royal College of Emergency Medicine, The Richmond Group, and Rethink Mental Illness, telling the government why it needs to take action on time critical medication.

Resources for health care professionals
Here you can find information and resources for professionals, to help everyone with Parkinson's in hospital or care homes get their medication on time, every time.
Take part in research about Parkinson's medication management
Researchers are looking for people with Parkinson's who have recently attended a hospital visit or have a visit planned in the near future, to take part in the home-based research.
They're researching whether missed or delayed medication while people are staying in hospital can lead to health problems and unnecessarily extended hospital stays.
