New guide helps more people with Parkinson's get active

Our new free guide gives anyone living with Parkinson's the opportunity to be active and live well with the condition.

We have created a new guide to help more people living with Parkinson's to enjoy being active.

Our Being Active with Parkinson's guide is free and gives you the resources and tips to start your physical activity journey. Whether you're newly diagnosed, have progressing symptoms, or your symptoms are more complex, you can find the best workouts and activities to help you.

How being active can help you manage your Parkinson's

Being active doesn't mean having to run marathons. But research has shown that regular, moderate to vigorous physical activity can help relieve some of the motor symptoms of Parkinson’s, as well as improving overall mental and physical wellbeing. Our new guide will give you helpful hints and tips to get you started, to keep you going, and to build a habit of being physically active.

If you're looking for ways to get started on your physical activity journey, you can also find links to providers, resources and online toolkits.
