Our celebrity ambassadors
Northern Irish broadcaster, Claire McCollum, is a long-term supporter of Parkinson's UK as her dad, Sam McCollum, lived with the condition for many years. Claire's relentless support includes media interviews, hosting events, and generously supporting our campaigns, including Walk for Parkinson's.
Most recognisable from Sky Sports' live darts coverage, Dave was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2011. Since 2016 Dave has raised a quarter of a million pounds for Parkinson's UK through corporate partnerships and personal walking challenges.
Former Radio 1 DJ and Top of the Pops presenter David 'Kid' Jensen was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2013. Since speaking publicly about his diagnosis in January 2018, he's attended numerous charity events, supported our awareness and fundraising campaigns, and made our partnership with Jazz FM possible. He's even taken part in Parkinson's research.

Alex is a successful, American-born artist who was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2019, having experienced symptoms for 7 years. Since his diagnosis, he's been an incredible force for good, using his passion and creativity to raise awareness and vital funds. Alex has teamed up with Parkinson's Art, Next and Hydrow to support Parkinson's UK with his art, as well as being involved in our Me, My Brain and I exhibition.
An adrenaline junkie at heart, Anne has thrown herself down rapids, along ziplines and atop planes to fundraise for Parkinson's UK, inspired by her dad Brian who lived with the condition for many years. Anne's support also includes her brilliant awareness raising on social media, attending events, and completing media interviews.
Charlotte is a model and influencer who has supported Parkinson's UK since 2019. While starring on The Bachelor UK, Charlotte announced that her dad lived with Parkinson's for many years. She has been, and continues to be, incredibly generous with her time and talents, organising and curating our first Catwalk to a Cure fundraising event, as well as supporting our many media, marketing and social campaigns.
Dipna is an award-winning celebrity chef known for her authentic Indian food. Dipna has supported Parkinson's UK since 2020, inspired by her mum Shushma who is living with the condition. Her support includes speaking at and catering at events, donating auction prizes, and raising awareness through her social channels and community.
Best known as the UK's favourite talk show host, Graham Norton supports Parkinson's UK because his father lived with the condition. His brilliant involvement has included presenting a BBC Lifeline Appeal and supporting our campaigns. Most recently, he provided auction prizes for The Big Give and helped us mark World Parkinson's Day.
Jane has been a BBC journalist for more than 20 years and is currently a presenter for BBC News at One, Six and Ten. Both Jane's father and uncle lived with Parkinson's for many years, inspiring her to support our work and help us to increase understanding of the condition.
Linda E is a TV and radio presenter, model and podcaster, working with the likes of Tesco, BuzzFeed and Adidas. She has supported the charity since 2019. Linda cared for her dad, who had Parkinson's for many years, and sadly died in 2018. Linda’s support includes events, donations and raising awareness via social media.
A successful journalist, newsreader and TV presenter, Natasha has been a dedicated supporter of Parkinson’s UK since 2013. Her continued support includes attending research lectures, personal fundraising and hosting events organised by the charity.
Comic Rob Deering is a keen runner and in 2022 will be running his twentieth marathon. Inspired by his father who lived with Parkinson's, Rob has raised over £130,000 for Parkinson's UK through running challenges and his annual comedy fundraiser, Shake with Laughter.
Former BBC News Technology correspondent and author of 'Always On', Rory was diagnosed with Parkinson's in January 2019 and publicly announced his condition later that year. He is a great supporter of Parkinson’s UK and our work, through personal fundraising, attending events, and raising awareness of the condition through his role in media.
The UK's longest-serving weather forecaster, Siân continues to be a fantastic supporter of Parkinson's UK as her mother lived with the condition for many years. Siân's support includes press interviews, donations, attending events and helping to increase understanding of Parkinson's through social media.
HRH the Duchess of Gloucester has been our Patron since 1996.
Jane Asher became President of Parkinson's UK in February 2007.
